Avet Pharma Announces the Launch of Desipramine Tablets
Eatontown, NJ, June, 12 2017. Avet Pharmaceuticals Inc. (“Avet”) announced the immediate availability of Desipramine immediate-release 10, 25, 50, 75, 100 and 150mg tablets. This launch adds to Avet’s robust portfolio of generic oral solid products. Desipramine is the AB rated generic equivalent to the antidepressant drug Norpramin®. It is indicated for the treatment of depression. According to IMS data for the twelve-months ended March 2017, the U.S. market for Desipramine immediate-release tablets is approximately $20.1 million.
