Job Summary:

      The Sr Analyst Chargeback and Rebate Admin. will work as a member of the Commercial Operations Team, reporting to the Senior Director, Commercial Operations The position will be responsible for all rebate and chargeback management related activities including process development and the review and approval of all Customer rebates within the company.   • Lead, with guidance from leadership, the efforts to develop, coordinate, and track corporate rebate claims management processes to maximize commercial success. 
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of all commercial rebate claims.
  • Accountable for ensuring all rebates are received, logged, and validated in an appropriate manner. 
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of all commercial rebate claims. 
  • Collaborate with Finance team on accruals to ensure Company rebate/claim liabilities are accurately captured and managed. 
  • Provide key input and insight into Gross to Net (GTN) calculations and revenue planning. 
  • Work with Customers to resolve any potential disputes and ensure internal deduction management processes are appropriately robust. 
  • Work closely with wholesalers to resolve chargeback disputes amicably and prevent future occurrences.
  • Communicate effectively with internal/external teams, wholesalers to gather additional information and resolve disputes/deductions.
  • Review eligibility questions and respond accordingly.
  • Review chargeback resubmissions and submit accordingly.
  • Post chargebacks to ERP. 
  • Adhere to all safety and cGMP standards and guidelines, and report unsafe conditions, near misses, and/or injuries in a timely manner.

Requirements:                                                        

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Min 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical contracting and/or related financial operations 
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on time management, follow-through, and issue recognition abilities. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, principally Microsoft Excel. 
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical pricing and contracting and related rebate administration and processes.

Job Summary:

The Accounts Receivable Lead is responsible for the accounts receivable process. This is inclusive of cash application, collections, resolution of deduction balances, analyzing and reconciling any variances, as well as ensuring timely and effective collection efforts for all open receivables.

Reporting Relationships                                           

  • This position will report to the Controller, Finance and will have 1 direct report, Credit Analyst.
  • This position has internal contacts with commercial, finance as well as external contact with customer accounts payable and receivables departments.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform daily cash application on all customer receipts.
  • Initiate collection efforts on any past due or disputed balances.
  • Provide timely review and identification of deduction claims, obtain supporting documentation and conduct review and analysis, coordinating with other functions as necessary to determine validity and dispute where required.
  • Perform account maintenance to identify any potential credit memo to deduction matches and offset where applicable.
  • Timely response to customer, external departments, and management inquiries, ensuring effective and thorough communication.
  • Responsible for meeting month-end and quarter-end deadlines.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining reports for working capital analysis, metric maintenance as well as general ledger account analysis.
