Purpose of the Role:   The incumbent supports implementation of HR services, programs including employee and labor relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, talent acquisition and workforce planning.  Responsible for providing support to clients including administering employment policies and practices, researching and/or investigating concerns and making recommendations that promote positive team member relations.   Following the guidelines and procedures established this role plays a critical role to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and an overall positive team member experience. Key Role & Accountabilities:   Business Organization enhancement:

  • Builds a strong business relationship with the internal client and shares the responsibility for goals defined by business.
  • Actively identifies process and policy gaps and collaborates with HR colleagues to solution and implement changes necessary to address risk and drive operating efficiency.

HR Operations efficiency:

  • HR Processes: Supports the delivery of HR Processes across the employee lifecycle (new hire orientation, onboarding, HRIS data management, reporting, annual performance, and compensation review among others) in partnership with the HR team.
  • Payroll: Partners with Finance to ensure the payroll process is executed effectively including but not limited to, auditing bi-weekly timecards. Creates supervisory training, processes and guidelines to drive compliance and improve the effectiveness of the process.
  • Benefits: Responsible for benefit administration support including, reviewing connection file feeds, monthly billing preparation and reconciliation, reviewing and updating ADP for EOI approvals/denials, etc.
  • Partners with the Office Manager support other administrative aspects of the function in a rotation schedule.

Employee Relations:

  • Works with employees across the organization to resolve HR related inquiries across a wide range of topics including policy questions, career development, compliance, payroll, benefits, data, and employment verification.


  • Participates in Ad hoc projects, employee development, creates effective presentations, etc.

Your Key to Success:  

  • BA/BS degree. Focus on HR Management preferred
  • A minimum of 4 years of progressive HR experience. Preferably in an HR Generalist/Jr. HR Partner role in the pharmaceutical/manufacturing industry
  • A combination of knowledge and demonstrated experience with core HR responsibilities including employee engagement activities, compensation practices, workplace investigations, employee relations cases, payroll, benefits and onboarding
  • Experience working with ADP Workforce Now, Microsoft Office (Teams, SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint) or equivalent
  • On site presence required
