Avet Cares – Our Responsibility

Our commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles guides our efforts to positively impact the communities we serve. Our ESG initiative was founded, and remains focused, on three bedrock pillars: caring for a safe and healthy environment, putting people first to support our communities, and conducting our business with the highest levels of ethics, integrity and transparency.

Caring for a Safe and
Healthy Environment

We created environmental programs that aim to reduce energy consumption, minimize waste, and promote sustainability, which have included:

  • Smart Lighting at our manufacturing plant facilities.
  • Exceeding the monitoring and testing requirements of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) for our Wastewater Treatment System.

  • Installing EV stations at our manufacturing site by 2025 to reduce GHG emissions.

People First! – Community Support

We believe it is important to give back to the communities where our employees live, and work and we are committed to supporting local and national non-profits who share in our goals addressing social issues such as health and food scarcity.
Some of our recent initiatives include:

Women’s Empowerment

Our team organized a clothing drive for Dress for Success, which supports over 22,000 women in Northern New Jersey by providing training and professional attire. This initiative boosts confidence and helps women pursue brighter future.

Supporting the Breast Cancer Community

We partnered with Sister2Sister, a local nonprofit that aids minority and underserved breast cancer survivors. Our team participates in their annual walk-a-thon to raise funds for this important cause.

Feeding Our Community

We partnered with Middlesex County’s REPLENISH organization for a summer food drive. This initiative was an opportunity for us to fight hunger by supporting their program Nourishing Neighbors “30 for 30” Challenge. Thanks to our employees’ contributions, we collected an impressive 600 lbs. of food and hygiene products.

Product Donations

Avet makes annual pharmaceutical product donations to the Dispensary of Hope, which distributes life-saving pharmaceuticals to low-income, chronically ill patients. Avet also donates product to the Brother’s Brother Foundation, which collects donated pharmaceuticals and distributes them to local hospitals, clinics, HIV/AIDS facilities, homes for the elderly, and homes for orphaned and abandoned children around the globe.

Ethics And Compliance

We are focused on building a compliance culture that lays the foundation for ethical practices and responsible behavior in all aspects of our business. Our team is made up of highly motivated individuals who value integrity, transparency, and accountability.

Key policies that govern the ethical operation of our business, include Avet’s Code of Conduct, Anti-Corruption (FCPA) policy, Antitrust Compliance policy and program, and Drug Safety Privacy policy – which form the foundation of our governance. They guide us in our daily operations to ensure we all uphold the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and accountability.
